Buyer-friendly review process
Returns & Refunds Policy
Effective from June 2026
ZeroMaxShop wants buyers to shop with confidence. If something goes wrong with an order, we will review the issue fairly and consider the best available solution. Refunds are not automatic, but every reasonable request can be reviewed.
1. Overview
ZeroMaxShop sells independent, thrifted, pre-owned, vintage, customized, altered, embroidered, and one-of-one clothing items. Because many items are secondhand, limited in quantity, or individually modified, some sales may be final after an order has been shipped.
At the same time, buyers should feel protected when something truly goes wrong. This policy explains when a refund, partial refund, return, cancellation, or other solution may be considered.
Simple version
If the issue is real and supported by the order details, photos, messages, tracking, or other reasonable proof, ZeroMaxShop will review it in good faith. If the order was delivered correctly, matches the listing, and has no supported issue, the sale may remain final.
2. Buyer Protection and Fair Review
Every refund request is reviewed with the goal of being fair to honest buyers while also preventing false, abusive, or unsupported claims.
- All refund requests may be reviewed.
- Approved solutions may include a refund, partial refund, return approval, cancellation, replacement when available, or another reasonable resolution.
- ZeroMaxShop may ask for photos, videos, tracking details, packaging photos, or additional information before making a decision.
- Claims are reviewed using product photos, listing details, order records, shipping records, messages, and buyer-provided proof.
Buyer-friendly, not scam-friendly
ZeroMaxShop wants to help when something is truly wrong. Requests that are unsupported, dishonest, abusive, or inconsistent with the order records may be denied.
3. Refunds That May Be Considered
Refunds, partial refunds, returns, or other solutions may be considered in situations such as:
- The wrong item was shipped.
- The item received is meaningfully different from the product listing.
- The item arrived with major damage that was not shown or disclosed before shipping.
- The package is confirmed lost by the shipping carrier.
- The order was cancelled before shipment or before fulfillment progressed too far.
- A verified issue occurred during shipping or delivery.
- Another rare issue is reviewed and approved by ZeroMaxShop.
Approval is not automatic. Each request is reviewed based on the listing, item photos, order details, shipping records, buyer-provided evidence, and ZeroMaxShop’s own records.
4. Refunds That Are Usually Not Accepted
ZeroMaxShop may deny refund or return requests when the issue is not supported or when the reason is outside of buyer protection. Refunds are usually not provided for:
- Buyer’s remorse or change of mind.
- The item not fitting as expected when measurements, size, or photos were provided.
- The buyer choosing the wrong size.
- The buyer expecting a different fit, feel, shade, or style.
- Failure to review photos, measurements, condition notes, or descriptions before checkout.
- Normal signs of wear on thrifted, vintage, or pre-owned items that were shown or described.
- Minor color differences caused by lighting, screens, photography, or display settings.
- Minor imperfections expected with thrifted, vintage, altered, or customized items.
- Claims made without clear photo, video, tracking, or other reasonable proof.
- Claims made after the review window has passed.
- Items damaged after delivery by the buyer, another person, improper washing, misuse, or normal wear.
- Unauthorized returns sent back without approval.
Why this matters
Many ZeroMaxShop items are unique or one-of-one. A fair review process protects buyers, but it also helps prevent dishonest returns or claims that cannot be verified.
5. Damaged Item Claims
If an item arrives damaged, contact ZeroMaxShop as soon as possible. To help us review the issue, you may be asked to provide clear photos or videos showing:
- The outside packaging.
- The shipping label.
- The item as received.
- The specific damaged area.
- Any difference between the received item and the listing.
ZeroMaxShop keeps records of product photos, listing details, condition notes, and item condition before shipment. These records may be used when reviewing refund or damage claims.
Proof may be required
Refunds or partial refunds for damage may be denied if the issue cannot be reasonably verified. Clear proof helps honest buyers get support faster.
6. Custom, Altered, Vintage, and Pre-Owned Items
Customized, embroidered, altered, repaired, modified, printed, or made-to-order items are generally final sale unless the wrong item was shipped, the item arrived with undisclosed major damage, or ZeroMaxShop approves a rare exception.
Many ZeroMaxShop items are thrifted, vintage, pre-owned, tagless, or sourced secondhand. These items may show signs of previous ownership, age, wash wear, fading, cracking, distressing, small marks, loose threads, or other minor imperfections.
ZeroMaxShop attempts to show and describe noticeable flaws when reasonably possible. Minor wear consistent with a thrifted, vintage, altered, or pre-owned item is not automatically a valid reason for refund.
7. Partial Refunds
In some cases, ZeroMaxShop may offer a partial refund instead of a full refund. Partial refunds may be considered when an issue is real but does not require the full order amount to be refunded.
Partial refunds are reviewed case by case. Accepting a partial refund may resolve the issue and close the claim.
8. Return Shipping, Shipping Fees, and Cancellations
If ZeroMaxShop approves a return, return instructions will be provided. Items must be returned in the condition received unless the issue being reviewed involves shipping damage or another approved exception.
Unauthorized returns may not be accepted. Sending an item back without approval does not guarantee a refund.
Shipping fees may not be refundable unless ZeroMaxShop determines that the issue was caused by an approved error, such as the wrong item being shipped or another verified order issue.
Cancellation requests may be reviewed if the order has not yet been shipped or processed for shipment. Once a shipping label has been purchased, the package has been handed to the carrier, or the order has entered fulfillment, cancellation may no longer be available.
9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If a buyer opens a payment dispute or chargeback, ZeroMaxShop may provide the payment processor with order records, listing photos, shipping confirmation, tracking information, messages, product condition records, and policy acknowledgments.
Fraudulent, abusive, or dishonest refund claims may result in account restrictions, order cancellation, or loss of access to ZeroMaxShop.
10. How to Request a Refund Review
To request a refund, partial refund, return, cancellation, or order issue review, contact ZeroMaxShop with your order number, a clear explanation of the issue, and supporting photos or videos when available.
ZeroMaxShop may request additional information before making a decision. Failure to respond or provide requested proof may result in the request being denied.
