Returns & Refunds Policy

1. Overview

ZeroMaxShop sells independent, thrifted, pre-owned, vintage, customized, altered, embroidered, and one-of-one clothing items. Because many items are secondhand, limited in quantity, or individually modified, most sales are final once an order has been placed and shipped.

This policy explains when a refund, partial refund, cancellation, or return may be considered. By placing an order on ZeroMaxShop, you agree to this Returns & Refunds Policy.

2. Important: Most Sales Are Final

Buyers are responsible for reviewing all product photos, descriptions, condition notes, size information, measurements, color details, and shipping details before purchasing.

3. Refunds That May Be Considered

Refunds or partial refunds may be considered only in limited situations, including:

  1. The wrong item was shipped.
  2. The item received is significantly different from the product listing.
  3. The item arrived with major damage that was not shown or disclosed before shipping.
  4. The package is confirmed lost by the shipping carrier.
  5. Another rare issue is reviewed and approved by ZeroMaxShop.

Approval is not automatic. Each request is reviewed based on the listing, item photos, order details, shipping records, buyer-provided evidence, and ZeroMaxShop’s own records.

4. Refunds That Are Usually Not Accepted

Refunds are generally not provided for:

  • Buyer’s remorse or change of mind.
  • The item not fitting as expected.
  • The buyer choosing the wrong size.
  • The buyer expecting a different fit, feel, shade, or style.
  • Failure to review photos, measurements, or descriptions.
  • Normal signs of wear on thrifted, vintage, or pre-owned items that were shown or described.
  • Minor color differences caused by lighting, screens, or photography.
  • Claims made without clear photo or video proof.
  • Claims made after the review window has passed.

5. Damaged Item Claims

If an item arrives damaged, the buyer must contact ZeroMaxShop as soon as possible and provide clear proof. Proof may include photos or videos showing:

  1. The packaging.
  2. The shipping label.
  3. The item as received.
  4. The specific damaged area.
  5. Any difference between the received item and the listing.

ZeroMaxShop keeps records of product photos, listing details, condition notes, and item condition before shipment. These records may be used when reviewing refund or damage claims.

6. Custom, Altered, and Embroidered Items

Customized, embroidered, altered, repaired, modified, printed, or made-to-order items are generally final sale. These items may not be eligible for return or refund unless the wrong item was shipped, the item arrived with undisclosed major damage, or ZeroMaxShop determines that a rare exception applies.

Custom items may have small variations because they are individually modified or produced. These variations are not automatically considered defects.

7. Thrifted, Vintage, and Pre-Owned Items

Many ZeroMaxShop items are thrifted, vintage, pre-owned, tagless, or sourced secondhand. These items may show signs of previous ownership, age, wash wear, fading, cracking, distressing, small marks, loose threads, or other minor imperfections.

ZeroMaxShop attempts to show and describe noticeable flaws when reasonably possible. Minor wear consistent with a thrifted, vintage, or pre-owned item is not automatically a valid reason for refund.

8. Partial Refunds

In some cases, ZeroMaxShop may offer a partial refund instead of a full refund. Partial refunds may be considered when an issue is real but does not require the full order amount to be refunded.

Partial refunds are reviewed case by case and are offered at ZeroMaxShop’s discretion. Accepting a partial refund may resolve the issue and close the claim.

9. Return Shipping

If ZeroMaxShop approves a return, return instructions will be provided. Items must be returned in the condition received unless the issue being reviewed involves shipping damage or another approved exception.

Unauthorized returns may not be accepted. Sending an item back without approval does not guarantee a refund.

10. Shipping Fees

Shipping fees may not be refundable unless ZeroMaxShop determines that the issue was caused by an approved error, such as the wrong item being shipped or another verified order issue.

If a carrier loses a package, ZeroMaxShop may review the tracking information and carrier status before deciding whether a refund, replacement, partial refund, or claim process applies.

11. Cancellations Before Shipping

Cancellation requests may be reviewed if the order has not yet been shipped or processed for shipment. Once a shipping label has been purchased, the package has been handed to the carrier, or the order has entered fulfillment, cancellation may no longer be available.

ZeroMaxShop reserves the right to approve or deny cancellation requests depending on order status, payment status, inventory status, and fulfillment progress.

12. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If a buyer opens a payment dispute or chargeback, ZeroMaxShop may provide the payment processor with order records, listing photos, shipping confirmation, tracking information, messages, product condition records, and policy acknowledgments.

Fraudulent, abusive, or dishonest refund claims may result in account restrictions, order cancellation, or loss of access to ZeroMaxShop.

13. How to Request a Review

To request a refund or partial refund review, contact ZeroMaxShop with your order number, a clear explanation of the issue, and supporting photos or videos.

ZeroMaxShop may request additional information before making a decision. Failure to respond or provide requested proof may result in the request being denied.

14. Final Decision

ZeroMaxShop reviews refund and return requests in good faith based on the available evidence. We reserve the right to approve, deny, partially approve, or request more information for any refund or return request.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
